Such a difficult to rear fish, so I give myself a try on tuberose...
Tuberose is a jasmine scent flower, which originated from Mexico. Scientific name is Polianthes tuberosa. It is commonly found in florist shops but not plant nurseries. I think the Malay named "sundal malam", because it is a night bloomer. Luckily, I found the plant, which is sold in one of the Klang's village called Kampung Jawa.
My 1st attempt failed, because it were attacked by soil cockroaches and snails, they chewed the soft leave and the tuber under ground. It make me no choice, I have to use natural insecticide to get rid of them, and do replanting again.
Since I just replant them few days ago, I don't know the out come. If it really flower, I think my house and neighbor will smell the nice mild jasmine natural fragrance...
Following picture is my very own tuberose. It stalk already shoot up, and you can see the buds...it is matter of time to bloom (it bloom at night)
